Emma Teske, 91 of Rochester MN died peacefully on Monday, September 7th at Samaritan Bethany.
Emma was born May 19, 1924 in Utica MN to Herman and Emma Kempe. She married Marvin Teske on June 3rd, 1950. Together they had 3 children, Steve, Sherry and Deb. Emma owned her own beauty shop in Utica and later worked for the Spicers in Rochester as a hairdresser and receptionist.
Emma loved her family and was especially loved by all her grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, knitting and sewing. She loved animals of all kinds and really enjoyed the grand-dogs visits.
Survivors include her son Steve (Karen) Teske, daughters Sherry Moyer (Gerry Olson) and Deb (Nile) Anderson. Six grandchildren, Sarah Nelson, Kevin (Rita) Moyer, Matthew (Ana) Teske, Jesse Anderson, Ross (Bridget) Moyer and Lee Anderson. Five great grandchildren, Emma and Maggie Nelson, Lila Teske, Piper Moyer and Alexys Hawkins Moyer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 5 sisters.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 11th 2015 in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Bauch officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00PM Thursday, September 10th, and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester.

I so enjoyed the times I had talking with Aunt Emma, whether it be on the phone or
in person. Aunt Emma was always so interested in what was going on in my life.
You will be dearly missed ! I know you are in a better and happy place. You and
Uncle Marvin are together again.
