Bill was born on June 15, 1936 in Storm Lake, Iowa, to the late Earl and Dorine (Crotty) Kesler. He married Mary Adamson on June 14, 1958 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Rochester, MN, she survives.
Bill is survived by his six children, Brian (Linda) Kesler of Mantorville, Pam Sparks of Rochester, Julie Mosser of Rochester, Dan (Rosa) Kesler of Rochester, Katie (Jon) Jeckell of Silvis, IL, and Mike (Jessie) Kesler of Oronoco; sixteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren with two on the way.

Football was another strong passion of Bill’s; he spent 16 years coaching Rochester Youth Football.

Condolences
The family of Earl William “Bill” Kesler has received the following condolences.
Mary / Brian / Pam / Julie / Danny / Katie / Mike -
My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time as you mourn the passing of Bill. Although it has been a long time since I had seen him (and many of you) the Memories of my Childhood flow as if they happened yesterday. I am sorry that I was not able to return from CO and know I will certainly miss all of the Stories from the Old Neighborhood in NW Rochester, where I moved-in at 4 years-old. As you know, Mike is one of my oldest Friends and thankfully we shared some Texts last Week. It was a simpler time then and the World is certainly very different from when we all grew up. Bill will be missed and memories of our interactions "mostly" put a smile on my face. Take care of yourselves. Lance
Our deepest condolences to your entire family during this time of loss and sadness. As people of faith, we know God is a healer and loves us deeply. As you transition into a new normal, may you remember and cherish the memories of this remarkable man you called father. May you continue to live with hope and grace in the footsteps of your father as well as your almighty God. With great sympathy and respect...Mary & Todd Kelsey
Bill & I are IBM friends and had similar interest in football-basketball and other sports.
I am sorry for what has happened and my prayers are for the family.
Sorry about Bill. I considered him a friend.
God Bless Rest In peace Bill !!!
Robert E. Adams (Bob)
I'm so sorry to hear of Bill's passing but I hope his family knows that some of his old High School classmates still remember him as someone they admire and I am one of those. I only wish I could be there to be a party to his memorial but that won't happen due to distance. I am so very proud to be able to call myself one of his friends and wish we were able to spend more time together even though the miles between us were many!! Thanks for the great memories, Bill, and rest in peace! Ed
Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Kesler crew as we all adjust to the loss of Bill.
Couldn't have asked for a better neighbor and friend! Many memories of Bill's storytelling, laugh, and teasing to reflect on in these next few days.
Hugs of love to you all.
John and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy to your whole family. May you find peace knowing he's reached his eternal reward. Remembering all the good times we had at St. Pius and LHS with our kids. Hugs and prayers to all.
We are so very sorry for your loss. No words can express the hole that is left in your family by his passing, but just know you are all in our thoughts and prayers!
Forever in our hearts. We have and will always miss you, Uncle Bill! With Love from us in California.
I knew Bill from IBM and just out and about at Lourdes games, shopping, etc. What a wonderful man!! Always had a smile......I'm sure he raised a terrific family just from knowing what he was like. My prayers are with all of them!
