Dear Ulrich Family,
Our condolences go out to the Ulrich family, especially to Heidi and Heather. It is so difficult to lose a parent. Hopefully the passage of time will leave you both good memories of your dad and ease the grief you feel. We send you all our love.

Dear Ulrich family,
My wife Julane and I send our expression of deepest sympathy to a of you! Doug was a great Confirmation classmate at Spring Garden Lutheran Church and we graduated together from Cannon Falls High School!
I always felt close to Doug because he grew up just up the Belle Creek from the farm of my Grandparents, Anton and Alice Bodelson, where my Mother and Uncles also enjoyed that beautiful valley! I'll never forget the Summer Ice Cream Social hosted by the Ulrich's on their farm with Church chairs set up on the lawn in front of the house. As a High School Senior in the Luther League, I was asked to recite James Weldon Johnson's sermon on rhe Prodigal Son from his book titled "God's Trombones"...the repeated line is "Young man, young man, your arm's too short to box with God!"...look it up online or in the library...several comforting readings!
May the PROMISE of the RESURRECTION and the COMFORT of the HOLY SPIRIT give you PEACE! Pastor Rod Anderson
