David R. Elliott

David Roland Elliott, 73, of Rochester, MN, died peacefully at his home on Friday, August 18, 2023.

David was born December 22, 1949 in Rochester, MN to Phillip and Marjorie (Defosse) Elliott. David attended school in Rochester, MN. David resided in Rochester, MN his entire life. He previously lived at Bear Creek Services Home and currently for many years at Abe’s Place Hiawatha Homes. David appreciated his long-term housemates and house staff.

David enjoyed working at PossAbilities of Southern Minnesota for many years. He also attended the Seniors Program for a few years at PossAbilities. David loved listening to the police scanner and emergency weather reporting on his Ham radio.

David is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in the River Park Chapel South Room at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Grand Meadow Cemetery in Grand Meadow, MN.
