Dave Harry Keckhafer

The funeral for Dave Keckhafer will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday. December 4, 2018 with Pastor Katy Lee officiating in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Dave H. Keckhafer, age 67, of Rochester, passed away on November 28, 2018. He was born on March 15, 1951 in Rochester to Harry A. and Margueritte E. (Kruger) Keckhafer.

He was a life long resident of Rochester. He enjoyed working with people and watching movies and wrestling. He worked for ABC for 27 years working at custodial sites, at the Post Bulletin, recycling centers and general production at the center. In the 1990’s he worked at Apache Amoco. In addition to being a reliable, hard worker, he was always upbeat and liked to visit and joke around with everybody.

Survivors include his sister, Abigail Keckhafer of Maple Grove, MN; his brother, Bruce (Monica) Keckhafer of Mankato, MN; nieces and nephews, Nate (Emily) Ackman, Cassie (Kevin) Johnson, Alexandria and Joseph Keckhafer; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Riley, Keegan, Zoey Ackman, Ethan and Avery Johnson.

Family prefers memorials be made to ABC.
