My deepest sympathies to the entire family. My connection to your family comes through Champion Youth Basketball.  My prayer is that the spirit of love and giving I witnessesed from you there is returned to you many fold during this difficult time.

I first met Cyrus at a very hard time in my life. He could see I was struggling, he approached me and the very first thing he did was make me laugh. That was one of his best qualities, he could brighten up any situation, just by a single comment. I'll never forget the way he would always look out for himself and others. He was an amazing friend, brother, son, teammate, and much more. He would never let someone get in the way of what he was going to do, all he had to do was be himself, and that was the best. I find myself writing this with a bit of guilt, guilt for not completely being there when I could have. I know we can't bring him back, but him being so selfless, I feel as if he would want us to come together and not go through this alone. He loved so many people close to him, and the best we can do is show our love and support.

I was Cyrus' High School Counselor when he was in 9th and 10th grades at Mayo High School. I was so shocked to hear about his car accident and I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Cyrus well.  He had interesting ideas, loved sports, and enjoyed talking to and sometimes debating with adults. My heart goes out to you and your family and I send my deepest condolences. I will be out of town this weekend and will not be able to attend the services, but know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Cecil (Kimberly), Angie, Beverly, Karin, Tammie and the entire Bellephant Family of Uncle Vance and Aunt Lavada:

We share in your loss. You have our condolences. Look onto the hills to help you through this difficult time. Your help will come from the Lord, our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We love you Dearly

Dear Cecil, Kimberly and Family,

We were so sad to hear this news and grieve with you in the loss of Cyrus. My last memory of seeing him was at Calvary E-Free church eating breakfast with the choir in the rehearsal room. He was a fine young man and will be greatly missed.

I miss you Cyrus. I know we cant bring you back. But i ask myself alot "what would he say or do." And i often find the awncer when i lest have hope. I know your watching over us, but your mom needs your love more then me. So in sprit i ask you to love her. Keep her safe, and above all. Always be her guide. We all love you Cyrus, and we will always miss you.

Cyrus, you have been my friend since I was a baby. You were my only true best friend. My mind still thinks about all of the memories we would have together as little kids. I can't help but cry knowing we can't make any new memories. I know heaven has an amazing angel up in heaven but I want you back on the ground so I could see you. I'm thankful I had all these years to get to know you and I can't wait to make more memories with you in heaven when we meet again. Fly high Cy. I love you.

Love, Kristen Arbuckle.
