She was thankful for small things in life. She enjoyed the show Wheel of Fortune, playing cards, spending time with family, her beloved pet poodle Sami and her lifelong friend Shelly.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father Glenn “Larry”, brother Daniel, and her mother Beverly. She is survived by her brother David and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Condolences

The family of Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Larrison has received the following condolences.

I too remember fondly the elementary school days with Cindy.  I would ride horse from Southport to Cindy's house to enjoy the farm life.  We had so much fun at Cindy's playing in the house and riding horses.  It seemed like we could do anything, and Cindy had such great ideas of things to do! What I remember most was her beautiful smile.  It is sad that we lost her so soon and my heart goes out to the family.  Prayers to the family and hopes that the memories get you through this difficult time.

Cindy and I became inseparable friends at age 5--so inseparable that the teachers in school wouldn't allow us to be in the same classroom during our elementary school years!  But they couldn't keep us apart riding the school bus the 45 minutes to and from school!  We shared such a great many, many fun and fond memories.  We would ride the horses, Topper and Joe Bo Boots, to Dewey's little grocery store in Simpson for candy then sit under the bridge to indulge in chocolate; or to the woods where we'd stay for the night in the camper with her little dog, Baby.  We would always stay at one another's house to watch "Wizard of Oz," and our many overnight's (usually two weekends a month) otherwise centered around homemade pizzas and "thriller" scary movies.  Cindy's parents (and my second parents), Bev & Larry, taught us how to play 500--a card game which we both loved well into our adult lives.  We went on several grand vacations with Bev & Larry, to Oahu, Maui, Mexico, and a Caribbean cruise.  Never have kids been treated to such lavish first class lifestyles than on those vacations!  In my adult years I was submerged in academia pursuing my dreams of becoming a physician, then consumed by the practice of medicine for thirty years; but though we saw each other much more seldom, we still always kept in touch with cards and letters.  My last visit with Cindy was end of July this year, a very lovely sunny afternoon where we shared endless stories from childhood; Cindy was in good spirits, she seemed happy with such a beautiful countenance.  This is how I will always remember her.... Though I know Cindy had a very difficult life with so many endless struggles, I also know she was in a strong relationship with Jesus, and is now freed from all her troubles, safe in her heavenly home with Him.  Praise be to God!!
