Cornelio Ramirez Martinez

Cornelio Ramirez Martinez, 51, of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in Rochester, Minnesota.

He graduated in 1985 from Port Isabel, Texas, moved to Rochester, Minnesota in 1994 and worked at The Waters on Mayowood. He loved fishing, golfing, attending school and sport events with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, football (Go Cowboys). His faith was very important to him. He would help with service at church and give great talks with everyone.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Celso and Magdalena Martinez; brothers, Salvador Martinez and Arnulfo Martinez Sr.; and sisters, Hilda Martinez and Elvia M. Torres.

He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Blanca Azucena Martinez; daughter, Iris (Hector) Martinez; grandchildren, Daniela, Israel, Joseph and Valerie; siblings, Crescencio (Marina) Martinez Sr., Constancio (Lucila) Martinez Sr., Irma Martinez (Manuel Sr.) Rivera, Rodolfo (Minerva) Martinez Sr., Herlinda Martinez (Albert) Alvarado, Celso (Rosa) Martinez III, Magdalena Martinez, Orlando Martinez Sr., Hector (Sylvia) Martinez Sr., and Elsa Martinez Alvarez; and numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial gathering will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home in Rochester, Minnesota. A prayer service will start at 7:00 p.m.
