My thoughts and prayers are with you ...
I came to know Cecil through the Knights of Columbus, and I found him to be truly a man to enjoyed the moment, the men and women he was with, and looked forwardd to some activity that would take him to the edge of excitement. But most of all, I got to know him through his son, Tommy, and oh how many stories I heard about some of his exploits. I regret that I will not be able to be in Rochester to extend my regards and condolences to the Carey family.
But, I do know that this was truly a man who live life to its fullest and enjoyed doing it so well. I had the very high honor of conferring the honors of the Knightodd Degree on this Sir Knight, and afterwards, he expressed such an appreciation for the values, projects, and work of the Knights of Columbus. I pray that our lady and her blessed Son extend to the Carey family those graces and blessings that will bring healing and concolation to one and all.
God bless,
Berry Hobbs, PGK, FDD, PFN

I only knew Cecil for a couple years, but I am so happy I had the chance to meet him. He was an incedible guy with so much energy and zest for life. It makes me happy to think he's back with his wife, someone he always spoke so kindly of. RIP Cecil. You will be missed.
Tommy, I am so very sorry to hear of your Father's death. I was on the Macken site as my cousin's husband's Father had died when I saw the notice. Please know you are in my prayers.
Linda, John and the entire family! Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you at this time. We had seen pictures from his birthday party on John's FB Page, he looked like a very dapper and fun man. Linda I went through this with my dear father just over a year ago, he was 91 it is hard it's your dad. John the picture of you and him made me think you had a great relationship with your grandpa as did Chad with my dad. Blessings to all of you in the coming days. Jim & Kathy Hixon
