Cathrine Tart

The memorial service for Cathrine Tart will be at 3:00PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Linda Helberg officiating.  Visitation will be held from 2:00PM to 3:00PM on Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Cathrine Tart, 58, of Rochester, died Friday, December 13, 2013 at Saint Marys Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was born on August 27, 1955 in Rochester to Robert and Mary (Labrash) Plenge.  Cathrine attended Elgin High School, and later recieved her GED. She married Alan Tart in 1983 in Rochester.  She worked for Bright Ideas, Hiawatha Homes, Woodruff Plumbing and was owner of CLT Cleaning Service.  Cathrine loved sewing, fishing and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Alan ; daughter, Jenny (Darin) Carlson of Hugo, MN; son, Chad (Laura) Schroeder of Eyota, MN; 3 grandchildren, Ella Carlson of Hugo, MN, Wyatt and Morgan Schroeder of Eyota, MN; mother, Mary Plenge of Zumbro Falls, MN; mother-in-law, Betty and father-in-law, Paul of Lakeland, FL; siblings, Cindy (Darrell) Johnson of Green River, WY, Terry (Norvel) Lane of Milan, MI, Robert (Barb) Plenge of Rochester, MN, Rodney (Les) Plenge of Green River, WY, Angela (Darren) Locke of Rock Springs, WY and Richard (Laura) Plenge of Elgin, MN.  Cathrine is preceded in death by her father, Robert Plenge, and a niece Nicole Plenge.
