Bryan T. Baker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bryan Baker, on March 14, 2024. At 45, he leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and hard work that will forever resonate within our hearts.

Above all, Bryan was a dedicated and devoted father who was very involved in his children’s lives. He enjoyed making memories with his kids more than anything. To his kids, Bryan was more than just a dad; he was their biggest cheerleader and their fiercest protector.

Family was the cornerstone of Bryan’s life. Alongside his life partner, Kelly Tedrick, he built a home filled with love and laughter. Together, with their blended family of two daughters; Taylor Baker (Will) and Jaden Baker, one son; Brandon Baker, and two step-daughters; Olivia Tedrick and Nora Tedrick, they created cherished memories that will forever be treasured.

As a brother, Bryan was more than just a sibling; he was a best friend and partner-in-crime to his brother Mike (Jenny, Abby and Drew) Baker. Bryan and his brother Mike had a unwavering bond of love and support. Rest in peace brother, your presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

As a son to Janice Schreiber (Larry) and Gib Baker (Carol), they were blessed to witness Bryan’s growth and share in his adventures. From his earliest steps to his proudest achievements, they stood by his side, cheering him on every step of the way. Though he may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever live on in our hearts and in the memories we hold dear.

Bryan wasn’t just your typical contractor and business owner; he was a craftsman who poured his passion into every project he touched. He tackled each day with grit and determination, leaving behind a mark of excellence in everything he did.

In his free time, you could find Bryan soaking up his life’s dream of living out in the country – whether he was working on projects in his shed, doing yard work, playing with our 3 German Shepherds (Ash, Zev, and Max), or hanging out around a bonfire with friends and family, beneath that tough and rugged exterior beat the heart of a true family man.

Though he may no longer be with us in body, Bryan’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him. As we mourn his loss, let us also celebrate the incredible life he lived and the love he shared with all of us.

Rest easy, Bryan, knowing that your legacy of love will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing you. We love you.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home.

Gib , and Janis so sorry to hear of his passing. I didn't know him but I knew you both. I will be out of town on the 23rd but sending prayers your way !

As a fellow St. Pius and Lourdes graduate. Bryan and I spent a lot of years together….my last name was Ascheman and he was Baker—and we were always “stuck” next to each other in every assembly you could imagine.
At our high school reunion, Bryan found his way to my best friend, Kelly Tedrick…and that is where their love took off. I am so glad they had a second chance with each other.

Rest easy Bryan- it looks like you raised a hell of a family. I am incredibly sorry for your loss.

Such a tragic loss. Bryan and I had a lot of great times growing up together and man did we get in some trouble, or should I say the trouble found us.. There was never a dull moment.  My heart goes out to everyone effected by this. I just can't believe it.
