She was an avid MN Twins and Vikings fan. She enjoyed tailgating and was a longtime MN Vikings season ticketholder. In retirement, she and Rod spent many winters in Hawaii and carried on her family’s tradition of summer vacations at Huddle’s Resort on Leech Lake, MN.

Denise and family:

So sorry to hear about your Mom.  I remember her as a kind and considerate person who loved her family very much.  Wishing you God's peace and warm embrace...

Donna

My deepest sympathy to the Walters family.  Great Aunt Betty was truly one in a million!  I always loved having her as my neighbor at the lake!  From the many stories she told me of her and my grandpa Frank growing up together.  I surely learned a lot about them in their younger years.  She always welcomed you and said goodbye with a great hug and a kiss on your cheek.  Please know that your extended family will be with you during this difficult time.  Prayers to all of you.

Dear Denise, Greg, and Terry

i am so sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother. May time and shared memories ease the pain of your loss.

With most sincere condolences,

mary

Our sympathy to the family. Betty and Rod were neighbors to the Hunter family as well as seeing them at Huddles several times.  Was glad to visit and see her a month ago

My sympathy to all the members of the Walters family.  Betty was an exceptional person in all ways.  God Bless.
