Aunt Betty was ALWAYS filled with energy and a welcoming smile on her face. As a child growing up in Pleasant Hill, CA I remember when she decided to go to college at San Francisco State University and earn her Degree in Education. Her journey required a number of years as the commute between the East Bay and SFS University was not a simple task, especially given the fact that she took all of classes at night. But as usual once she made up her mind to tackle an objective, nothing stood in her way. She was an organizer par excellence. Talk to her friends in Sun City, AZ regarding her energy and activity level. As one of her neighbors said to me at Uncle Bob's funeral in 2011, "I thought she came here to retire, and boy was I wrong. She is involved in EVERYTHING in Sun City". And I believe that comment captured her essence during her life. She was never one to "pass the buck" or have others do what she was extremely capable of accomplishing. So now it is time to take a breath and enjoy your time in Heaven. God Bless you. Gary
