Condolences

The family of Beatrice “Bea” Doretta Klavetter has received the following condolences.

Sweetest voice to ever answer a phone! Had many pleasant chats with Bea through the years. I remember doing work in the Kahler Hotel pbx and making bookends shaped like old crank phones that she enjoyed. Condolences on your loss.

Linda, sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.  I hope all of your memories of her are wonderful.  God bless her soul.

Linda, Kevin, Kim, John and families,

My deepest sympathy to you and your families on the loss of your mom.  How wonderful that our mothers shared 50+ years of friendship. From coffee parties to cruises!  Bless her memory, she will be missed.

Linda, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother, Bea.  I remember you speaking so fondly of her.  Blessed be her memory.  I hope you and Tim are well.

We only knew Bea through the wonderful stories of her shared by her daughters, Linda and Kim.  Through their stories she was the perfect mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Her positive attitude and grace were a blessing to her family.  What a lovely legacy!

So sorry for the loss of your mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. I met Bea many years ago cleaning Pax Christi church on Monday mornings. Then was delighted to run into her again a few years after she stopped cleaning when I started volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House. Bea was always very talkative and we had many conversations about her travels, family, past jobs etc. I will remember her as a happy, joyful person, I don't think I ever heard her complain or say a negative word about anyone. God bless all of you, Lnda

Dear Linda, Kevin, Kim and John,

Just a few memories to share about Bea:

I fondly remember many 4th of July’s, when your entire family joined us at the river for a day of fun!  Your Mom always provided her famous chocolate cake, which was delicious and was well-known to be my Dad’s favorite.

Wizard of Oz - Linda and I have discussed this previously, thinking it was a favorite of each of our families-it wasn’t!  We think it was just an opportunity for our parents to get together to play cards!  It is a family favorite of ours now!

Your parents went camping with my parents, accompanied by our sons - I am so happy our boys got to know your parents.  Our sons have fond memories of Bea and Wyman and were sad to hear the news that Bea had passed.  My husband also met Bea and Wyman prior to our wedding and appreciated her upbeat personality over the years.

Bea was a wonderful God-mother to me and I will always remember the visits we shared.  She was wise, always full of laughter and I loved her.

Blessings on each of you and your families.

Love,

Debbie (Randall) Macken
