Barbara Jean (Buske) Stuve

The funeral mass for Barbara Jean (Buske) Stuve will be at 11:00am Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Resurrection Catholic Church.  Visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am Saturday at the church.  Burial will be in Oronoco Cemetery.

Barbara Jean Stuve, 75, of Rochester, died Sunday, December 22, 2013 at Seasons Hospice House.

Barb was born July 8, 1938 in Rochester, MN to Ernest W. and Inez (Wenzel) Buske.  She attended Northrop Elementary and graduated from Rochester High School in 1956.  Barb married Robert G. Stuve on August  1, 1964 in Rochester.  She worked as a secretary at the Rochester State Hospital until it closed and then at the Guest House until her retirement.

Barb enjoyed traveling; especially to Hawaii and spending time with family and friends.

Barb is survived by her brother, Donald L. (Kathryn) Buske of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Cindy, Judy, Lon, Vicki, Larry, Chris, Julie, Kim, Ronnie, Kevin, Steve, Tim, Joe, Terri, Shelly and David.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband; brothers, Richard and William; sisters, Janet and Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Seasons Hospice, Bell of Honor, St. Jude’s and Resurrection Catholic Church.
