Condolences

The family of Barbara Ann Postier has received the following condolences.

Barb & David where good friends of my parents Don & Bonnie Birka.  They had great times over the years. I remember Barb trying to teach me how to dance at the ELKs during my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary. It is sad to see our parents pass.  We must cherish memories of our parents when they were so full of life.

I was a member of the class of '56 at Pine Island High School with Barb.  She attended several of the classmate luncheons the past few years, it was always fun to see her.

My sincere sympathy to the daughters of Barb, also to her grandsons, may the many happy memories sustain you, as you mourn the loss of your mother and grandmother.

With love and prayers,

Marlys(Gravenish) and Ray McNamara

Julie and family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Thinking of you in this difficult time.

As I begin to write this, I glance at the clock and see that the service for Barbara is about to begin and I am sorry that I only learned of it from Uneda King earlier this morning, or I would have joined you in honoring Barbara's life..  My sympathies to all of you.

Barbara and I were classmates in high school.  We always knew that if Barbara was around, fun wouldn't be far behind.  Her liveliness and energy was something I always admired.  Since our 50th high school class reunion, many of us have gathered bi-monthly for lunch in Rochester or one of the surrounding towns.  I am so grateful that Barb was often present. It was good to renew that friendship after seeing each other only every five years since graduation.

PS  If the family could email me an address, I would like to send a memorial.

I send my sincere sympathy to Barbara's family in the loss of their mother.I have been her neighbor since 1969 . We have lived just 1/2 block from each other . I already miss seeing her light in the kitchen window. May God be your comfort .
