Barbara Ann Krahn
Barbra Ann (Batterson) Krahn, 86, of Rochester died Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Cottagewood Senior Communities from Alzheimer’s.
She was born April 11, 1934 to Lloyd and Dorthy Batterson.
Barb married Donald J Krahn on July 7, 1956 and together, they built a life they loved. She was a devoted mother and grandma, who made it to every game. It was rare to look up and not see her in the bleachers cheering for a Krahn.
She enjoyed going to their cabin in Wabasha, entertaining friends and family all weekend, boating, fishing, and they loved to travel. She was a big-hearted woman, who lived and loved life. She was a “hostess with the mostess”.
She is survived by her two sons, Mike (Jennifer) Krahn and Dan (Lori Newell) Krahn; grandchildren, Michaela, Dahlton, and Haley; two brothers, Richard (Norma) Batterson and David (Marsha) Batterson; sister, Jane Batterson; and brothers-in-law, Sid Frank and Kenny Krahn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Krahn; brother, Tom (Marlene) Batterson; and sister, Susan Frank.
We will be putting together a celebration of life this coming summer.
