Arleen Marie Moulton

Arleen Marie Moulton (Weis), age 91, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2019 at Chosen Valley Nursing Home in Chatfield, Minnesota.

Arleen was born November 21, 1927 in Rochester, Minnesota. She married the love of her life, Truman D. Moulton on September 25, 1948. They were married 67 years.

Arleen and Truman had four children and are survived by, Dan (Susan) Moulton of Chatfield, Dixie (John) Reesor of Shakopee; Dewey of Oronoco, and Dennis (Jill) of Nisswa. They shared seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Arleen is also survived by John and Beverly Stanco (Moulton) and family, and Renee Weis and family, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Arleen in death were her husband, Truman D. Moulton; as well as two brothers, Linus and Frances Weis; and sister, Delores Berg.

Arleen and Truman owned Moulton Trucking and Pulver Towing for many years. They then operated Rochester Express and Specialty Tours until retirement. They lived in Rochester and Oronoco.  Arleen lived at Chosen Valley Nursing home for the last two years.

Arleen was a successful business woman, persisting through many life challenges. She was a loyal business and life partner with her husband. Arleen was happiest when around good friends and loving family. She loved cooking large dinners for her family, playing cards with her grandchildren, visiting children that lived afar. Arleen always had a dog in her lap and loved them all dearly. Her rhubarb cake and Thanksgiving stuffing recipes will live on for generations to come. She will dearly be missed.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 25th in the River Park Chapel at the Macken Funeral Home, 1119 11 1/2 St SE, Minnesota with Rev. Shawn Haremza officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Wasioja, MN.
