Anthony “Tony” Dobbelaere

Anthony “Tony” Reme Dobbelaere, 43 of Rochester, passed away on October 20, 2022, at his home following a medical emergency.

Tony was born on June 9, 1979, in Willmar, MN to Claude and Kris (Paulson) Dobbelaere. He graduated from Mayo High School in 1997. He was a union member for the Carpenter’s Local 68 for over 20 years. At the time of his passing, he was engaged to Lucy Pantoja. Tony was truly comedic and always loved a good laugh. He enjoyed hockey, bowling, golfing, and riding his jet skis. He was the “life of the party”, who, as the middle-child, took absolute pleasure in being the center of attention. He loved family time and going to the stockcar races with his dad.

He is survived by his parents, Kris and Claude of Rochester; his grandfather, George Dobbelaere; his fiancé Lucy, and her children Celia, Gabriella, Dylan, Eva Grace; his siblings, Sheila (Ely) Pelowski, Claude “Brennen” (Amy) Dobbelaere Jr., Scott Dobbelaere, Renee Snow; nieces and nephews, Maya, Felix, Stella, Claudia, Laila, Irelynn, and Colin all of Rochester.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Huck and Marilyn Paulson, and Helen Carver.
