Andrea Mary Thompson
Andrea Mary Thompson, age 56, of Minnetonka passed away peacefully in Rochester on July 16, 2021. She was born on November 9, 1964, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Andrea had lived in Minnetonka for the past 25 years and worked as a commercial real estate manager in the metro area.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jo Genz of Rochester; her brother, Joseph Thompson and niece, Shyla Thompson of Rochester; her sister, Julie Genz and niece, Anika Pool of Washington.
She is preceded in death by her father, the late Jerome Genz; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lynaugh; her great aunts, Verna and Helen Kruger.
The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Resurrection Catholic Church with Father Schuster officiating. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Rochester.
Memorials are preferred to Resurrection Catholic Church, Paws and Claws, or donors choice.

Mary jo and family, I am so sorry for your loss Andrea was the most beautiful person inside and out. Growing up , going to Saturday lunches with her, was always a bright spot. We always laughed about “western days” with my mom and it poured the whole time. Andrea just laughed it off. She will truly be missed.
