Alivia Lucille Quelix

Alivia “Liv” Lucille Quelix- Rochester

Alivia Quelix, 16, of Rochester, MN, died Saturday, July 19th, 2025, in her home.

Alivia was born March 2nd, 2009 in Rochester, MN to Eddie and Leanne Quelix at Mayo Clinic Hospital.  She attended Rochester Public Schools.

Alivia was a radiant soul whose warmth, creativity, and quiet strength left a lasting impact on everyone she knew. She approached life with curiosity, courage, and compassion—always giving freely of her time and love, never asking for anything in return.

She found joy in the little things: music, the scent of flowers, the sound of water, and the companionship of cats. Nature brought her peace—gardens, sunshine, and mountain hikes thrilled her spirit. She loved to swim, to build, to create, and to cheer others on—always supporting, never seeking the spotlight.

Alivia had a heart of gold and a fearless soul. Whether helping with a project, tinkering with a car, or baking something special, she gave her all. Her intelligence was quiet and brilliant, her imagination endless.

Her legacy lives on in every kind act, every joyful moment, and every memory of love she left behind. She was truly one of a kind—and she will never, ever be forgotten.

She is survived by, Father and Mother, Eddie and Leanne Quelix, two brothers, Anthony and Alex Quelix of Rochester MN,  two loving Grandmothers, Diamela Batista of Hollywood FL, and Susan Geary of Rochester MN, and one foster-grandmother Jennifer Sanneman of Rochester MN.  She has also touched the lives of many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and family Friends who love her and will remember her always.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, in the River Park Chaple at Macken Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 1:00pm – 3:00 pm prior to the service.
