Alexis Harrison

Alexis Elaine Harrison, age 29, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after complications from a cardiac arrest.

Alexis was born December 29, 1992. She graduated John Marshall High School in 2011.

Alexis was raised by her father, Sean Harrison and step-mother, Barb Harrison; and her mother, Shaun (Fitzgerald) Hamburgen and step-father Thomas Hamburgen.

She is survived by her brothers: Max (Janessa) Harrison, Patrick (Alice) Harrison, and Aleksander Hamburgen; sisters, Paige (Sean, Jr.) Haggerty, Carissa (Brad) Daniels, and Samantha (Josh) Kraft.

Alexis was passionate about everything she did and everyone she met; she saw the good in everyone and was a strong advocate for equality and rights for all. Alexis shared her father’s love for music and the Minnesota Vikings. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 2:00pm in River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. All friends are welcome to bring a photo of Alexis to post on a photo board during the visitation.

Condolences

The family of Alexis Harrison has received the following condolences.

Alexis Harrison was my Aunt, she always loved anyone she met. Alexis, I love with all my heart that you are in a better place.

                                         Love Your Nephew

                                                            Sean Harrison

Alexis was such a thoughtful, kind and welcoming beam of light. Truly a special person that positively impacted lives no matter how brief the interaction. To have spoken to her, texted with her, chatted with her or any other way communicated with her was to adore her.

We knew Alexis as a fun, smart and hard working young lady.  The loss of a granddaughter, daughter or sibling has got to be one of the hardest things to endure and we mourn with you.   They say everything happens for a reason so maybe one day we may understand… certainly not yet from our point of view.

We hope you find peace in this trying time,

Brian and Paula

Dear Shawna, Tom, Aleksander, and family, we are so very sorry for the loss of Alexis and will keep you close in thought and prayer as you mourn her passing. ?

Sending love and friendship ❤️

My sincere condolences to Alexis'  family and friends for their loss ?? What a beautiful lady she was; may your memories of her help soothe you through this very tough time, and may she rest in peace ? ❤️??

I am so sorry for your loss and send my thoughts and prayers.  I did not know Alexis but I know her grandmother Janet Fitzgerald and send my condolences to her also??.

My heart goes out to Alexis' family.  May you take strength from God and each other during this sad time.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

We have the loss of two loved ones this year, Gramps and now our sweet Alex....we take comfort knowing Gramps was there to greet you in Heaven and will watch over you now, Alex.  Our family gatherings will never be the same, but again we take comfort in knowing you are at peace. A peace we find hard to fathom at times, but believe you are living in God's glory.  And you will live in our hearts always and forever.  Love you, Tom and Di. ♥
