Condolences
The family of Kathryn Irene Patchin has received the following condolences.
Kathryn was my Great Aunt on my mother's side. Her sister, Lydia, was my grandmother. But my mother, Ethel, and Aunt Kathryn were very close. We spent a lot of time with her and Uncle Ray and I have so many fun, fond memories of them. When Aunt Kathryn, Cousin Pat, friend Ione, and my mother got together, they would laugh until they cried. And none of them could ever remember the end of a joke but by the time they got that far, they were laughing so hard it didn't matter. As a pre-teen, I thought Aunt Kathryn was very fancy - she always smelled good, dressed nice and looked elegant to me. I will always remember her laugh and kindness. Rest in peace, dear Aunt Kathryn. You were so loved!
Aunt Kathryn was always so kind to me. I called her my "Crafty Aunt". I still have so many ceramics made in her basement with my mother (Dorothy Hanson). I wish I could be there, but I live too far away. She was the last Aunt on the Patchin side.
I remember her very well as she treated us Genoa kids well. She was a very kind lady as well her husband Ray. I also remember us kids were playing softball and broke a window. I cant remember what was the results. I always enjoyed the family and always missed Larry. I did not know she was Art Harms sister. I spent a lot time with Art who fixed my car and had a good Relationship with Mickey Harms and Merrill Holiday. I live in Crooks, SD. Your Mon and Dad were great people and was enjoyment when we played at your place.
