Condolences

The family of Jeanette “Jet” Marie Christiansen has received the following condolences.

I will miss you dear friend. You brought much love and laughter into our late night chats.  Your joy and kindness was very much appreciated,  Heaven has been blessed to have an angel like you.

I have not known Jeanette very long, but I have come to love and respect her in a short period of time.  I too am an online friend of hers, and she was always positive and full of love; I never heard her speak an unkind word about or toward anyone.  She was a very special lady and I love her very much; I will never forget her.  She touched many and I will miss her.  I will keep praying for and sending love to her family and loved ones, although they do not know me.

Rest in God's arms, my sweet friend.

From Heather

mY SYMPATHY GOES OUT TO THE FAMILY OF JET. I HAVE A LOT OF FOND MEMORIES OF HER. TO MY FRIENDS, DAN AND JUDY, I HOPE TO TALK TO YOU SOON. TO JEANETTE'S HUSBAND, MY SYMPATHY.  I WAS IN ROCHESTER THE DAY OF HER FUNERAL, BUT MY MOTHER WAS HAVING SURGERY FOR CANCER, SO WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO LEAVE THE HOSPITAL.  PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL, AND IHOPE SHE DID NOT SUFFER.

Heaven retaineth now our treasure,
Earth the lowly casket keeps.
And out thoughts will often linger,
Where our darling Jeanette sleeps.

I have been an online friend with Jenette and she was always friendly and kind to everyone. I will miss her and will continue to pray for all her family during this time.

I worked with Jeanette at the Braden Law Office in Faribault a number of years ago.  I haven't had any contact with Jet since that time, but remember her as a caring person who was easy to talk with.  I extend my sincere sympathy to the entire family and am very sorry for your loss.

To all of Jeanette's loved ones, and close friends,
I only knew her for a short while, but in that time she brought light, provided comfort, calming and peace.
It seems that's what she did no matter how you were in contact, or what was going on.
She had a gentle heart, and a great sense of humor. I'm blessed, and my life richer for having known her that short while.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers in the weeks and months ahead.
Her physical body may be gone, but every precious memory still lives on.
Rest in Eternal Paradise, sleep well with the angels, Love. <3

Lori,  I am you Dad's cousin,LuAnn Flemming Otto.  We recently moved to Lake City and I read in the Rochester paper that your Mom passed away.  I remember you as  little girl visiting your Grandma and Grandpa Torgerson in Litchfield.  I just wanted you to know that I am so sorry to hear that your Mom had passed away and that I am thinking of you and your family at this time.

Take care and hold those wonderful memories close in your heart forever.

Grammy,

You will forever be missed by so many! I am honored that I was able to be a part of your life. It was so hard watching you slip away to God's arms, but I know that's where you need to be. I love you dearly and promise to look after your family. Remember....dragonflies...nothing that will scare me!

Forever and Always,

Your Other Daughter

So sorry to hear about Jeanette. May she rest in peace, now.  Great lady  I had the pleasure of knowing and hanging with during her stay in Owatonna.  She will be dearly missed.

My sincerest condolences go out to Jeanette's family and friends.  While we have only been in touch again for the past year or so via Facebook, I knew Jeanette and her parents and sisters since we were children growing up across the street from each other.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you now as you say farewell to this spunky sister who was loved by so many.  May you be comforted by the many memories you share, and in the knowledge that your dear Jet is no longer in pain and rests in the Arms of Jesus, where you will meet her again.

I am Jet's friend from Mayo clinic. I had a chance to see her in the fall and glad I did. Scott, Lori and all, know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time

When a smile or an encouraging word was needed, Jeanette was always there.  Without fail, her positive outlook and kindness aided many through troubling times.  My life was richer for having her as a friend.  May Jeanette's memory be eternal.

"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love." -(Leo Buscaglia)

I know this is a difficult time for you all – my heart is breaking for you!  Jet was one of the most loving, giving and "original" women I've even encountered in my life.  From the day I met her I knew she was very bright, sentimental, spunky, warm, funny . . . all tied up in a very special spiritual package.  She adored you all and loved being a "Grammy."  You were the center of her world and she would do anything to make your day brighter or help you.  May you be comforted by knowing that Jet is at peace, free from pain, and with our Lord and other loved ones in Heaven.     ~~  Rather than mourn the absence of the flame, Let us Celebrate how bright it glowed  ~~
