Barbara L. Taylor

The memorial mass for Barbara L. Taylor will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday July 15, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Rochester with the Rev. Msgr. Gerald A. Mahon officiating.  Barb’s cremated remains will be placed in a niche at the columbarium at Calvary Cemetery in Rochester. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the church on Monday.

Mrs. Taylor, 77, of Rochester, MN. died Wednesday July 10, 2013 of a lengthy illness  at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

Barbara was born February 5, 1936 in Rochester to Julius and Hazel (Currier) Dalsbo. Barb graduated from Edison High School in Minneapolis, and then attended of University of Minnesota for two years. June 23, 1956 she married John Taylor in Mason City, Iowa. Barb and John moved to Anaheim, Ca. in the 50’s and she worked for Mattel Toy Co. for 26 years.

Barbara is a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, was an avid reader and loved to travel and cook.

Survivors include her husband John; sons John Jr. of Oronoco, William of Pine Island and Charles of Rochester. She is also survived by her granddaughter Isabella Taylor of Rochester. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Shirley Krims and her two brothers James Dalsbo and Jack Har.
