Condolences
The family of James D. Collett has received the following condolences.
My brother Eddy Nelson informed us of your great loss. I'm glad I got to see both he and Virginia a few years ago on a visit to Rochester. I remember how your Dad and Mom, Virginia was such good friends and spiritual encouragement to Edgar and Generva Nelson. And, I recall Virginia how we were in school together, elementary I believe. However, I don't remember the location of that school was it Golden Hill? I recall your wedding and how we all rejoiced with you both. However, then our lives parted and we were in Texas for a while and saw you and yours infrequently or very little. I'm so glad you have a big family to comfort you, not only personal but the whole brotherhood of friends. We share your sorrow and hope you get in touch as you feel like it; and keep that red headed spunk we remember you for. All our love. My cell # is 720 666 1320. We look forward to " the call from our lifegiver Jehovah and his reliable promises, too. We are ready to greet all our dear loved ones again who are sleeping peacefully till then, and we know you are, too.
To the family of my friend Jimmy,
I grew up in the truth and the one person who was always a part of that was Jimmy. He loved Jehovah and we know that because of his kindness, patience and love for the flock. When my brother Russell Burd died, Jimmy send a card of condolences to the Kingdom Hall listed in the obit. I was in awe of Jimmy's far reaching sympathy for my pain. It had been over 50 years since I had seen Jimmy and yet he remembered. That is a perfect example of the kind of man Jimmy was.
It saddens me that he is no long taking up space on this earth, but when he wakes up "in the morning" he will be free of the imperfections of this world and peace will be his for an eternally.
Cindy Burd Griebel
We feel so sorry for your lost.
Hearing about Brother Jim and sister Virginia through a great friend here in Brazil made us love them as if we have known them personally, since we've heard about your dedication to Jehovah, to their family, and to our brotherhood.
Luke 20:38 says that Jehovah is "a God, not of the dead, but of the living, for they are all living to him".
We are confident that that is true in the case of Brother Jim, who was faithfull to Jehovah even under difficult times.
May Jehovah comfort all of you.

Jim was a good brother and friend, look forward to seeing him in the new system. John 11:25, 26 Jesus said to her: "I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life; 26 and everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all. Do you believe this?"
Jim did indeed believe this.
Our love to the family, you are all in our thougts and prayers.
Your brothers, sister and friends,
Howard, Fran and Alex ponder
So sorry to hear of your great loss. May you find peace in all your happy memories that will live forever in your heart.
