Patrick Kuisle, 27, of Stewartville died Thursday (March 7, 2013).

Pat was born January 21, 1986 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester to James and Marlys (Pehrs) Kuisle. He graduated from Stewartville High School in 2004. After graduation, Pat attended RCTC and held various jobs. Most recently, he had worked at Hormel Foods in Austin, MN.

Survivors include his parents, Jim and Marlys of Stewartville, four brothers Markus of Rochester, Nathan (Jessica) of Stewartville, Jerrod of Stewartville, and Jacob of Stewartville, paternal grandmother Mary Kuisle of Stewartville, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by the family dog, Tyson, whom he lovingly referred to as “Goober”. He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Eldon “Bud” and Margaret Pehrs and paternal grandfather Laurence Kuisle.

Pat loved spending time with his family and friends, enjoyed his job, and especially appreciated spending his free time fishing. Everyone that knew Pat appreciated his kind heart and loyal friendship.

Dear Jim and Marlys,

We are sorry to have missed seeing you at the funeral home but but we just heard about your son. Our hearts are breaking for you. Hold on to each other, your family, and your memories of Patrick. Words don't seem to be enough but there is little anyone can say right now to ease your pain. Please know that you both are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

Javis & Kathy Musolf

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Patrick.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I pray that you can some how, some way find peace and strength during this very difficult time and the many days ahead!

It was an honor in my life to have known Pat. It was an honor to have Pat as a team member. Intelligent, kind, comical, diligent, and understanding were just a few of the overwhelming amount of great qualities Pat has. My condolences to you and your family. God Bless.

Jim, Marlys & Boys,

We were very shocked & saddened to hear of Pat's passing.  It isn't supposed to be like that, where the parents bury their children.  We will always question that and even sometimes be upset with God, but as Christians we know that there is a plan and this life's journey is a very, very small part of His plan.  We grieve for ourselves, not for Pat, because he is where we all long to be someday.   As the hymn writer says "I'm But A Stranger Here, Heaven Is My Home".   Amen and GOD Bless you all.

Jim, Marlys, Marcus, Nate, Jess, Jarrod and Jacob,

May the Lord give you strength in the days ahead. Lean on all those around you too!

Mike and Mari

Marlys, Jim, Markus, Nate, Jess, Jerrod and Jake -

I wish I had the words to take away your heartache.  Pat will always be remembered for his big smile, quick laugh and the twinkle in his eye!!  I have so many great memories of Pat and the boys.....all those shenanigans that they pulled!!  We will never forget him!

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be ever at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face
and the rain fall softly on your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

God Bless all of you - I pray that you can find peace in the memories of your son and brother!
