Sandy,

Bob and I were saddened to hear of Dennis's passing.  We at Stonebarn Estates were always so grateful to have such a friendly and helpful neighbor.  We enjoyed seeing you both everyday, even if it was just a quick HELLO, as you both would take off for your daily walks together.  It lightens our hearts to know that Dennis was out doing something he thoroughly loved.  Our thoughts and prayers are sent your way and I hope to see you at Xmas.

Sheryl & Bob (Mesquite, NV)

Sandy,

We were so saddened to hear the news about Denny.  Kent had some good visits with him at the class reunions.  They got to talk about hunting!  I'm sorry I can't be there for the funeral.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sandy, So sorry to hear about Denny. My thoughts are with you through this most difficult time.

So very sorry to hear about good ole' Denny. It don't seem real even. I always enjoyed Denny and the whole group that would come every year to pheasant hunt at our place. I always called him "the fearless leader" He loved taking care of everyone while he was out here in SD. If one of those yonger guys needed some help with anything, he was the guy they hollered out for. Denny, you will truly be missed by many. I loved his and Bob's stories and we always looked forward to seeing him. He was on top of things, calling us to keep it all organized and such. Loved that innocent but yet guilty grin of his, with the big dimple on his chin! Hugs to all of you and we will keep you in our prayers. Earth's loss but Heaven's gain indeed!

I was very sorry to learn of Denny's passing.  My thoughts are for family and friends during this difficult time.  Joanne (co-worker of Sandy's from Ob/Gyn -- many years ago)

To Dennis Day Family,

To all of Dennis family. You should know he was a hero. A hero helps saves others lives, and helps plan for future generations to continue with a better future. Dennis did this by always, always helping in research studies. I work at Mayo, in CV research, and whenever...whenever we would need someone to help with our projects, Dennis always said yes. He was so gracious and willing to help no matter what the project. Without his volunteering, we would not have all the devices, and medications we have to help those in the future generations. He is a hero to us.....our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. He was a great giver of life. Peace be with you all.

Sandy,

We are so sorry to hear of Denny's passing!  Please know that we are thinking of you and sending our love your way.  You, and the rest of Denny's family, are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love, Gayle and Randy
