Frances Heaton Johnson

The funeral Mass for Frances Heaton Johnson will be at 11:00am Saturday October 27, 2012 at The River Park Chapel, Macken Funeral Home with Rev. Msgr. Robert Meyer officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of the service on Saturday.

Frances Heaton Johnson, 90, of Rochester passed away on October 23, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Wabasha.

She was born on November 5, 1921 in Lemon, SD.  Her family moved from their farm in Adams County ND to a farm east of Rochester in 1936.  She graduated for Rochester High School in 1939.  Her parents were John and Ada Heaton.  She had one brother, John Leslie Heaton.  She married Donald T. Johnson at St. Francis Catholic Church in Rochester on January 31, 1942.  She was employed with Quiter, Younger and Swanson Accounting and Rochester Products.  Her husband was a Rochester Fireman and Inspector.  Frances enjoyed playing bridge, golf, sewing, knitting and puzzles.  She was an avid Vikings and Twins fan.

Survivors include one Daughter Sheila (George) Bronk of Millville; three grandchildren George (Bridget) Bronk of Rollingstone, Dennis Bronk of Millville and Ann Marie of Millville; three great grandchildren Samantha, Jordyn and Cody.  She is preceded in death by her husband, one brother.
