Condolences

The family of Betty Lou Milkanin has received the following condolences.

Mark, Joe and family, I want to extend my condolences on your mother's death.  I haven't seen much of her for a number of years, but Betty was always very kind and welcoming as a volunteer at St. Pius, working at Assisi Heights and as a neighbor down 8th Avenue.  She was a kind woman, and I'm sure you'll always cherish many great memories of her.

Wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the Milkanin Familiy.  Work with Betty for many years at Olmsted Medical Center and she was always such a nice and caring person to be around. She was always a wonderful listener and would offer valuable advice to any subject that surfaced. She was very loyal to her work at Olmsted and it was a pleasure knowing her. May your memories find you comfort..

My prayer's to the family for the loss of a wonderful woman. I had the pleasure of working with Betty at OMC and really looked up to her. She trained me in and I enjoyed working along side with her. I will miss her greatly. She was loved by many including me. I will miss her stories she told me and enjoying her company. I will miss her very much. Again sorry for your loss.

Love

Leslie

Joe and Mark,

Sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. Dora Mae Mase Kept me up to date on how your Mom was doing. I did run into her a couple times at Assisi Heights when I attended a conference. You guys had a very sweet Mom. My brothers and I used to like to come tio your house Trick or Treating when we were kids. We always knew your Mom gave out good candy. What a great neighborhood we used to have.

Take good care of your families.

Joe and Mark, so sorry to hear about your mother. She was a great lady, she always had a kind word for everyone. It seems like just yesterday when we would go over to your house for a special meal and visit with your folks. They are now back together in heaven where they belong. My prayers are with you and your families.

The last time I talked with Betty we spoke of the party that would be held when Mom (Jeanne), Alta, Velma, and Grandma Belle welcomed Betty Lou home.  Betty said the clouds would be shaking when they all got together.  They are together now and will be waiting for the rest of us.

My condolences to Joe and Mark and your families. The good news is your parents are together again. Remember the good times on 5th avenue NW in Rochester. God Bless.......sjh

Betty lou, very caring and wonderful lady--you will be greatly missed, i know my parents (larry and laure) wished they could be be here to wish your family peace and words of comfort.  I remember many fun times that my parents would bring all 4 of us kids over to join in family celebrations. So sorry to share that my parents are overseas to spain and not able to make it back for the services...you are our angel now and forever in our hearts.

warmest regards, Amy (Gifford) Baltzer

I will miss Grandma Betty.  A kind, loving woman with a beautiful heart.  Sending love and prayers your way, Milkanin family.

Oh Betty, I not only had the pleasure of growing up with your sons, and sharing our school years together but I got to get to know you as we worked side by side at the front desk at OMC.  We had great conversations and you gave me lots of good advice as Kim and I were raising our children and in general, living life. Just know you were a very inspirational person in my life and I am so glad I got to know you as a person and a woman. God bless.
