Condolences
The family of Patrick M. Lovett has received the following condolences.
Patrick was a great spirit and always good for a lot of laughs. I worked with him in San Francisco and we became friends. We stayed in touch and I always tried to see him when I returned to San Francisco, because Patrick always made you feel like you were a special person. He certainly was. All those who knew him will miss him
Dr. Betty Sullivan, myself and others were all extremely sorry to hear the sad news. Patrick was such a vibrant and caring person. He seemed to so often think of the welfare of others. We will miss him a lot. His spirit was very strong at Jake's on Market tonight, as we all spoke often and fondly about him, celebrating his kindness and sweet spirit.
I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dearest friend, Patrick. I would tease him sometimes that he was such a bitter ol' thing, but the truth was that he was a kind, sweet soul and he is dearly missed. My heart goes out to his relatives and family in MN and also to Patrick's large family of many, many friends. I miss him terribly, but do find some peace picturing his passing as he would always describe it, arriving at the gates of heaven and his momma greeting him with arms outstretched. Rest in Peace my dearest Patty....

We all know what a beautiful person Patrick is. I feel blessed to have known and laughed with him. His sprit of joy and happiness was infectious. Thinking of Patrick always brings a big smile to my face - Thanks man - I love you.
He was a wonderful man.
Patrick worked for me for many years at Universal Cafe and that is where I first saw the wit and the hard work and the kind soul that he was. He also took care of TJ and Pearl( jack russell terriers) for many, many years and for that I will always be grateful. The many things I remember about Patrick besides what I have written above include how so very unselfishly every year(11) that we had our fundraiser, Strike Out Breast Cancer, Patrick would show up the day of the event, no questions asked and help us set up, take down, serve, bus, etc, etc as a volunteer. That is a loving memory for me and also, how special my daughter Colette was to him and how every year, he would make a special effort to bring over birthday and Christmas presents for her....his family in San Francisco was very important to him...all of his friends...I wish him peace and wish his family in Minnesota my condolences and peace as well.
with love, Gail

Dad and Mom,
We are truly sorry for your loss. Patrick was a great person, and we feel lucky to have had him as part of our family. The girls think fondly of the time we spent with him in San Francision on our trip with the two of you. He will be truly missed. Sorry we could not be there with you today.
Love always,
Thinking of all of you and remembering Pat's smile with a twinkle in his eye and his infectious laugh. He lived and did more in his life than many of us will ever dream of in his wild and crazy fun ways. I remember many fun times spending the night and Rick giving up his bed so Pat and I could share the same room. I know we had to drive him crazy at times. Great memories!
Big hugs

I was so sad to hear the news about Pat. I have so many fond memories of growing up next door to the Lovett family. My childhood would have not been filled with so much fun and laughter if it had not been for Pat. My deepest sympathy to Rick, Joe and Bob. May Pat rest in Peace....Kim
