Ryland “Ry” Moustafa Kamel
Ryland “Ry” Moustafa Kamel, age 30 of Rochester passed away on June 5, 2012 at his home.
Ryland was born on December 16, 1981 in Winona, MN. He grew up in Rochester, attending school, and earning his GED. He spent time traveling around the country with his extended family working in the entertainment business.
After the birth of his daughter, he was blessed with the opportunity to care for his children fulltime.
Ry had a big heart and loved people. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed music, sports and reading.
He is survived by his two children, Aaliyah (5) and Koraan (3), his parents, Mary (Solem) and Abdelfatah “Moose” Kamel, and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sets of grandparents (Ry and Phyllis Solem and Moustafa Kamel and Naima Ghonaim), an Aunt and Uncle (Karen and Jim White.)
A celebration of Ry’s life will be held in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home at 11:00AM on Monday, June 11, 2012. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at St. Felix Cemetery in Wabasha, Minnesota.

My deepest sympathy to you Mary and Moose. I worked with you Mary at Children's Exchange and Moose I knew you from there and of course Dominos. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your extended family during this time of such loss.
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ryland. I became aquainted with the family when I work at Dominos Pizza south and Ryland's father was my manager. My thoughts and prayers are with Ryland's parents, Moustafa (Moose) & Mary and other family members.

i cant count the number of times i showed up at ur house and ur fridge was ALWAYS open to me. ur mom's meatballs were the fkn best!! but that was the kind of person u were. we shared lots of laughs, lots of struggles, lots good memories, and an occasional petty squabble here and there. but at the end of the day, we were team and we all looked out for each other. now u just get to look out for the rest of the us from a little bit higher above. enjoy the view up there homie. and get heaven ready when its time for the rest of us to join u! rest in peace, my friend...see u when i get there!! endubtee
