Condolences

The family of Willard L. Wade has received the following condolences.

The Gene Wente Family extends their sincere sympathy to the families of Willard Wade.  He will  be remembered for his friendship and kindness to us.  We often kidded him about how hr helped Tim, John, Marianne, and Geno through their college years.  They all learned cooking skills and people skills while working for him and  the family spent some good times at his place out on the river.                         Blessings and God speed    Willard!

Two masses will be offered in his honor at St Pius X Catholic Church.

Willard was my Great Uncle , he & Ann Wade were my Grandfather Max Holmes's sister & brother in law. Willard was a fine man. My family used to eat at Wade's Broiler all the time... Didn't get to see him very much, but when we did , it was like he just spoke to you yesterday. He was always smiling.. He was an awesome man....

I was surprised to see he had passed away, but he was a gentleman, & a great man...

My thoughts & prayers to the family. He is a great loss.

TT,

Sue and I so sorry to hear that about your Dad.  Although we have not seen him in many years we still think very fondly of him and the many times we spent together at the lake and other places. We also remember all the great meals at Wade's Broiler Restaurant Cafe.

We we found this postcard on ebay.  It is a neat picture of Wades Broiler.

I tried to copy and paste the picture here but was not able to.

Just go on goggle and search for Wades Broiler.

I tried to put the URL in here but cannot.

Sincerely,

Sue and Bill Macey

To the family of Willard Wade,

We send you our deepest feelings of sympathy.  Although only known for a short while, it was a pleasant experience.  Your friends of 90 days at the Golden Living Center West.  Matt and JoAnne Zieringer

To: The Willard Wade Family:

I am sorry that I will be unable to attend the service for your father tomorrow.  I saw him many times at the YMCA and we had many good converstaions.  I remember, fondly, my association with all of you at Hawthorne School.  My sincere sympathy to each of you.

I have such fond memories growing up as neighbors of the Wade family in the old SE neighborhood. Last time I saw Willard was at his 90th birthday party and he had that jovial, happy smile that I remember. The entire Wade family has my sincere condolances at this time. May his memories live on!

I had the BEST Gramps in the world!!....Even when he left me stranded in the middle of Lake Pepin..It was all good!!!  The memories will never fade....What a Blessing I was given to Have Him in my Life  :)

I wish to send my condolences to Willard's family.  I knew Willard through the Elks Drum & Bugle Corps. I remember he had no problem getting our attention.  We always looked and sounded sharp with Willard up front.  I always have good memories of those years, until I left home to start a military career.

Regards
