Ray K. Meshke

The funeral Mass for Ray Meshke will be at 10:00AM, Friday April 27, 2012 at Resurrection Catholic Church with the Rev. Shawn Haremza officiating.  Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery at Mendota Heights, Minnesota.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass on Friday morning at the church.

Mr. Meshke, 96, of Rochester, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Seasons Hospice in Rochester.

Ray was born on July 31, 1915 in Winona to Frederick and Louise (Ganser) Meshke.

In 1942, he married Lucille Murphy.  Lucille died in 1977.  On April 17, 1982, he married Lila V. Bruce.  Lila passed away January 20, 2007.

Ray was an engineer for AT&T for 47 years in Minneapolis.

He is survived by a son, Paul Meshke of Fridley Minnesota; two grandsons, Christopher and Wayne Meshke; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives and one sister.

Ray was a member of the Pioneers, Elks and Eagles Clubs.  He loved the Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Cubs.
