Grandpa,
It's hard to believe you're gone now. Just one more "I love you" is all I want, even though I made sure each and every last "I love you" was heard and understood. I knew it was coming to the end.. that's why I made sure you knew how much I loved you. Your repeated stories and strong faithful words will be gratefully missed and never forgotten. You may be gone out of sight now... but I sure can feel your still with me in my heart telling me to move forward and to be strong like you. I can honestly say that you are one of my biggest heroes, and there wont be a day that you wont cross my mind.
It's not a goodbye, It's a see you later.
Much love.
-Jess.
To Gordon's family, Over the years, Cindy and I have had many conversations about our parents growing older and the ups and downs of aging. Even though she knew this day was going to come, it does not ease the pain and sorrow. Cindy would do anything for her mom and her dad, but that just shows what kind of person she is, patient, kind, and loving. I know Cindy must have been spoiled rotten by her dad being the only daughter, but Cindy would never admit it. Heaven just gained another angel. Hold on to the memories ---- the good and the bad.....your family will be in my prayers..... I will be celebrating my birthday on Friday, and you will be celebrating Gordon's life. With deepest sympathy, Lisa Herold and family. Austin, MN
I will miss you dad..love you
