Brian i will never forget the time you carried me home after cracking my head open on a rock at my first grade b-day party. nor the times we studied for BUM tests in a way we probably shouldn't have;) nor yer tiny ears, i swear you probably had the smallest man ears in the world! you were as good as a person gets, and I hope you are at peace. Love you bro.
I met Brian just this summer...June 18 - at Rochesterfest when he helped a good friend of our family, Derek Flowers, haul hay to our Bed Race. He had such a great smile, hard worker and fun personality. I am so sorry for your loss...it is never easy - and especially with someone as young and vibrant as Brian. You are in our thoughts and prayers.-- Joanne & Dick Markee
I first met Brian when he did his co-op time at St Marys Power Plant, four or five years ago. He made such an impression on the crew, we knew he'd be coming to work with us. Brian's time with us was too short but we were truly blessed in knowing him.
I pray that God brings you peace during this difficult time.
TJ & Family
So sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you are going through.
Our prayers are with you

Dear TJ, Debb, Nicole, and sarah.
Sorry isn't enough and words can not describe... Love you always, Bryan J
Although Brian and I have drifted apart in the last few years, the memories of our friendship are still very strong. I remember the day I picked him up for our high school graduation, I have never seen Brian more excited, although I was a little scared, he was not, he was ready to begin his journey of his adventurous adult life. Brian had a way of making everybody laugh, he seemed to always have a new adventure he wanted to try out, and sure enough, we always went along for the ride. Brian was my best friend in high school, I will never forget all the memories we made together.
For as long as I have known the Shandley’s, they have had a strong bond and love for each other like no other family. I know in my heart through this difficult time, the Shandley’s will have enough strength to get through this horrible loss. My thoughts are with you
Deb, TJ, Nicole, Sarah and Beth,
We are so sorry for your loss, Brian was one of those guys that was always happy, polite and full of laughter and life and you loved being around. There was always a smile on his face that will never be forgotten by many and I know he will be missed by everyone that had him in their lives both as family and as a friend. Your all in our thoughts and prayers.
John and Cherice
I feel I speak everyone from the St. Marys Power Plant when I say Brian will definitely be greatly missed. He was a great worker, enthusiastic about his job, had a great attitude, we couldn’t ask for more. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Brian’s family and friends.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at this time. We will never forget Brian. He was so liked by everyone who knew him. May God provide you enough strength to face these difficult times, although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. My sincerest sympathy. Brain welcomed me into the group with open arms and a huge heart. I have never met someone who loved life as much as him and who could make someone feel so comfortable and accepted. He was real as real can be and that is how I will remember him, loving, caring, genuine and full of life. His happiness was always contagious. He is truly missed. May god and time heal the ache.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family and friends. I was best friends with Jenny Ryan as a teen and babysat Brian often at Deb and Tj's house in Marion. Brian was a cute, fun kid that was full of life and energy. It was a pleasure to know him. My heart goes out to your entire family at this time. Missy
