Dear Schurhammer family,

I was so saddened to hear of Nancy's passing.  I was Nick's 3rd grade teacher at Ben Franklin and remember Nancy and John during that year because baby Peter was born! They came to conferences so excited about this addition to the family! She seemed to be a passionate mother who wanted only the best for her children and was a champion for Nick that year. Please accept my sympathies and prayers for a remarkable woman.

Sincerely,

Amy Northrop

I went to high school with Nancy. I am sorry for your loss- I saw the notice in the Rochester paper. Did not realize she was living in Rochester.

To John and family, please accept our deepest sympathies.  You may remember that Nancy and I trained to be claims reps in Madison WI in 1978.  I will never forget how Nancy reached out to me with her support early during the class, when i was very discouraged and considering quitting.  Nancy was tremendously kind and cheerful and generous and supportive, with a great sense of humor.  We worked together briefly in Rochester in the 1980s.  I am so sorry to hear about this.  May God bless you in this time of sorrow.  Jim and Laurie Czechowicz and family.

John, I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time. Janey Afseth

John, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I have thought of you both so very often, During personal and group meditations I would ask that you and Nancy be sent positive thoughts.

Please know that while I can't physically attend the services, I will be there in spirit. Nancy's smile will be something I will always remember.

John and family -

I am so sorry for your loss. You don't need me to tell you what a great gal we lost. I will always remember fondly all the fun we had and laughs we shared. You are all in my thoughts.

John and family,

It was such a shock to read about Nancy in the Winona Daily News today!  I'm so sorry for your loss.  I have such fond memories of Nancy from when you lived in Houston.  The picture of her on the funeral home site is just how I remember her.  Always a smile on her face!

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
