Ann Marie Ganrude

The funeral service for Ann Marie Ganrude will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday June 27, 2011 at Zumbro Lutheran Church in Rochester with Rev. Shelley Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday June 26, 2011 at the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home, and one hour before the service at church on Monday.

Mrs. Ganrude, 85, of Rochester, died of cancer Wednesday June 21, 2011 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Ann was born February 27, 1926 in Rochester to Andrew and Julia (Worden) Kulas. In 1949 she married Odin H. Ganrude in Minneapolis, MN. Mr. Ganrude died March 21, 1987

Mrs. Ganrude was a loving wife and mother, she was also a member of Zumbro Lutheran Church and the Coast Guard Auxillary. She loved boating and fishing, and enjoyed the neighborhood in which she resided. Ann and Odin wintered in Port Charlotte, Florida and enjoyed picking grapefruit, and walking the beach. Mr. Ganrude was a retired officer in Quarve and Anderson Company.

Survivers include her two daughters Andrea and Deborah Ganrude, both of Rochester. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Mark, and two brothers Thomas and Andrew Kulas

Memorials are preferred to the Zumbro Lutheran Church Youth Ministries or Diagnostic Screening Research – Mayo Clinic.
