Armin M. Kindschy, Jr.
Armin Marvin Kindschy Jr, 81, passed away on June 27, 2024, in Rochester, Minnesota. Born on January 25, 1943, in Montana, Wisconsin, Armin’s life led him to several locations that he called home, most notably Spring Valley, Minnesota and Rochester, Minnesota.
At a very young age, Armin learned to work hard and to take on whatever job was available to support himself and his family. Throughout his life, he worked various positions in the restaurant, cleaning, automotive/towing, and agriculture sectors. His strong work ethic and pride shown through in all of his endeavors.
Armin had several hobbies he enjoyed throughout his life. His love for driving in the local demolition derbies and having large gardens kept him busy in the summer during his younger years. He enjoyed deer hunting with family during the winter months and throughout the year you could often find him outside or in the garage scrapping apart old appliances or junk vehicles along with tearing up the dance floor with a good ole fashioned polka or two step. Over the past few years, Armin cherished the times he spent visiting the Olmsted County Fair, accompanied by his sister Marlene and niece Andrea Parkin.
Armin is survived by his loving children, Chester (Travis Schumacker) Kindschy, Curtis Kindschy, Christopher (Karolyn) Kindschy, Roger Kindschy, Carla (Ben) Leslie, Lyman (Jil) Guy, and Jenny (Joel) Huebner. His brothers Emmett Kindschy, Darrell Kindschy, Milo Lorenz, and Roger Vanderzee; sisters Marlene Schrader, Karen Clark, and Cindy Burt; along with many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Armin was preceded in death by his daughter, Bethany Kindschy; his parents Armin and Celia Kindschy; siblings Dale Kindschy, Beldon Lorenz, Marilyn Moga, and Carolann Kindschy.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2024, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Stephen Lesmeister officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Spring Valley Cemetery.
Memorials can be given to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
Armin’s life and legacy will be cherished and remembered by all who knew him.

I've know Armin for a long time through his marriage to my cousin Sheryl we also have some great memories Armin love to dance which he was an awesome dancer and he loved to be in demo derbys. He also loved to play cards grandma always would catch him be little sneaky at times but they both loved card games. Armin always had a good heart and was a hard worker always had to be doing something. Armin will definitely be missed. My deepest condolences and prayers go out to Carla and the Kindschy family. May god help you through this difficult time of need. ????
