Curtis Allen Bergeson

Curtis (Curt) Allen Bergeson, 79, of Rochester, MN, died Monday January 22, 2024 at St. Marys Hospital.

Curt was born July 19, 1944 in Spring Valley, MN to Selmar and Frankie (Jahns) Bergeson. Curt moved around quite a bit and travelled a lot until settling down in Rochester, MN in the mid-nineties.

Curt loved taking his chances at the casino and enjoyed sharing his stories of his many adventures, vehicles owned, and winnings at the casino with his friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his partner of 42 years, Thelma Volkart, his daughter, Frankie (Daniel) Bergeson, four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and his brother, Steve (Suzy) Bergeson. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, brother, son, and great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Millet Cemetery in Sumner, MN.
