Kenneth M. Miller
Kenneth “Ken” Miller, age 77, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 10th, 2023. Ken was born in Willmar, MN to Glenn and Edith Miller. Ken married Bonnie Olson, his high school sweetheart, at a little country church in Grove City, MN. They made their home and raised their two children in Rochester, MN. They were blessed to be married for 59 years this month.
Ken worked in car sales and later in financial services sales. He also donated over 21 gallons of blood and was always recruiting others to give blood to help those in need. Ken was kindhearted, had a quick wit, and was a friend to many. He enjoyed nature, animals, and long walks in the woods. He always said that nature was God’s Creation and that we should care for it faithfully. Ken was a writer and wrote many poems about nature and his walk with Jesus, his Lord and Savior. He would create his poetry on any scrap of paper he could find, such as magazine inserts, restaurant napkins, and backs of envelopes. Several of his poems were published and he would rarely change the words after the first writing – the words just flowed for him. He was a long-time member of Autumn Ridge Church and helped in Sunday school, ushering, and was part of the choir, including the Christmas Quartet.
He is survived by his wife and love of his life, Bonnie; children Cindy (Randy) Hoffert and Thomas Miller; grandchildren Anna (Andrew) Kerlee, Laura Hoffert, Emily Miller, and Zachary Miller; four great-grandchildren; his sister Marilyn (Brent) Fischer and his brother Phillip Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Roger Miller and Wesley Miller.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 15th, 2023, at Autumn Ridge Church, 3611 Salem Road SW, Rochester, MN. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2pm at the church.

Condolences
The family of Kenneth M. Miller has received the following condolences.
I met Kenny in April of 1974. We worked together at Clements Chevrolet for nearly 10 years. I had the privilege of learning a lot from Ken, as i was the rookie on the salesforce, and he had been there awhile. I soon learned from Ken that you didn't have to be the slick car salesmen that most customers disliked anyway, that you could just relax, be yourself, tell it like it is and you will do well. I have said that if Webster had known Kenny, his name would have been part of the definition of, "integrity". Kenny never pulled any punches and his customers were loyal to him because of it. something i admired most and did my best to do the same.
Kenny was one of the most fun loving guys on the salesforce and was always a joy to work with and brought his humor to work with him everyday. In 1975, while ordering a new corvette for a customer they introduced a new color for the car called "Mille Migilia Red". It was my turn to have fun with Ken so i told him Chevrolet had name a new color after him and he became know as Miilie from then on.. Millie was a great friend and comrad and our crew had just a lot of fun working together. He always talked about the love of his life, Bonnie and his family and you could tell they were the most important thing in his life. he was a great example of a man to us all. I shall miss him greatly.. He proved that you can be honest, be a Christian and be a car salesman, a lesson that stuck with me forever. I'm proud to have called him my friend and mentor and co worker.
My sincere condolences to Bonnie and the Miller family and i hope you can forgive me for not making the funeral as i just had shoulder replacement and it wasn't to be, but i was there in spirit and you are in my prayers
I’m so sad to hear of Kens passing. He was a great man and I was very blessed to be able to be be his Hair Stylist for the past many years. Wifey “Bonnie” was always a pleasure as well and always enjoyed the two coming in to see me. I could tell how much love they had between the two. I will miss his chats and laughter. Praying for healing and love for Bonnie and Family.
My sympathy to all the members of the Miller Family. Ken was a friend of mine in the neighborhood for many years. An exceptional person. God Bless him and all the members of his family.101
