Renee Ann Blumers
Our loved one, Renee Blumers passed away October 2, 2023, after a short illness, at the age of 69.
Renee will be remembered for her kindness, helping hand, and the beautiful quilts and cross-stitch she made.
Renee was born July 6, 1954. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1972. Renee attended RCTC, Rochester Vocational School. She worked for AT&T from 1975 to 1995. She then worked at the Mayo Clinic from 1995 until her retirement in 2021.
Renee is survived by her brothers; Charles (Carol) Blumers of Pine Island and Robert (Lisa) Blumers of Mantorville; her nephews Chad (Linda) Blumers, Craig (RaeAnn) Blumers, Colin (Jen) Blumers and Dylan (Kirsten Wilson) and niece Jessi Johnston; Uncle Robert (Leone) Lynch; Aunt Donna Danielson; and seven grandnieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Blumers; mother, Elizabeth Blumers; and sister, Mary Johnston.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home.
A private family burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Season’s Hospice or Paw & Claws of Rochester.

Renee was a friendly coworker who always had good advice on how to do things. She will be fondly remembered by all who worked with her in Cardiology at Mayo Clinic.
Thoughts go out to Renee's family. Her and her Mom Betty were always good customers in my shop, and were known as part of the 20 percenters. Blessings to all !!!

My deepest sympathy to Renee's family. I worked with her at Mayo Clinic for years and had much fun and laughter meeting with Renee and two other friends for dinner. She loved all of you and was so proud of you. May she rest in peace in the hands of the Savior.
