Lois Marie Rosecke

The funeral service for Lois Marie Rosecke will be held on Wednesday, November 24^th, 2010 at 11:00AM at Zumbro Lutheran Church with Pastor Jason Bryan-Wegner officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Prairie Cemetery.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to services at the church.

Lois Marie Rosecke passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010 at her son’s residence in Eden, Wisconsin, surrounded by her family. Lois Marie Archer was born on January 7, 1933 in Pine Island to Glenn and Margaret Archer. She graduated from Pine Island High School.  She married to Vincent Thoreson, and was later divorced. In 1963 she married Johnny Rosecke; he passed in 2009. Lois waitressed at various establishments and later went to beauty school, and became a licensed cosmetologist/beautician. She loved sewing, crocheting, and crafts.

She is survived by four sons, Gerald (Linda) Rosecke of Belvidere, ILL, Leslie Rosecke of Minneapolis, David Thoreson of Huston, Texas and Tony (Bonnie) Thoreson of Eden, Wisconsin; Four daughters, Joan (Curtiss) Dotzenrod of Racine, MN, Judy (Lonnie) Zelinske of Kasson, Pat Mehren of Ohio, and Peggi (Steve) Sawyer of Rochester; Five Brothers, Richard “Dick” (Thelma) Archer of Kasson, Arnold “Ike” (Ann) Archer of Lake Havasu City, AZ, Donald “Butch” (Carin) Archer of Minneapolis, Kenneth (Becky) Archer of New Prague, MN, Robert (Cindy) Johnson of Le Center, MN; Four sisters, Elaine (Jack) Dickens of Huston, TX, Clara (Clark) Roach of Minneapolis, Charlotte (Roy) Westburg of Marshall, MN., Donna (Kenneth) Habeck of Coon Rapids, MN, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny of 46 years, and two brothers.
