Bradley Lynne

Bradley Dean Lynne died Sunday, January 15, 2023, at his home in Preston, MN.

Brad was born July 15, 1963, in Minneapolis, MN, to Roger and Burnetta (Anderson) Lynne. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1981. On February 14, 1987, he married Katherine A. Hild. The couple resided in Apple Valley, MN, until 1998, at which time they moved to a small acreage outside of Preston, MN.

Brad was an avid bowhunter, harvesting many trophy bucks over the years. He loved nature and was a steward of the land, planting 1,500 trees. Other hobbies included wine making, bird watching, and working in his woodworking shop, where he crafted segmented wood bowls and lamps.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Lynne (Preston, MN); his parents, Roger and Burnetta Lynne (Bloomington, MN); sister, Kim (Bill) Ancel (Savage, MN); son Nathan Lynne (Rochester, MN); daughter Alyssa (Emmett) Lynne-Joseph (Wichita, KS); and his grandson Connor Lynne and granddaughter Kinsey Lynne.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Sunday, January 22, 2023, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Deacon Matthew Hecker (brother-in-law) will officiate, and visitation will be held an hour prior to service.

Memorials are preferred to the family.

I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dear husband of over 35 years! You've loved him so long and so well. I admire your devotion; how you cared for him and supported him through thick and thin. May his memory be a blessing. You two have wonderful adult children, and grandchildren. Give them a hug from us.

We are so sorry to learn that Brad has passed on from this life.  We remember him fondly; his enthusiasm for woodworking, wine making, tree growing, feeding the birds, in fact enjoying so  many aspects of nature.   We especially remember his pride in the accomplishments of his family.  We'll miss his happy smile and great sense of humor.  Kate, Ally, Nate, please accept our condolences on the loss of Brad.  With love, Aunt Karen and Uncle Larry
