Condolences
The family of Brigh G. Mueller has received the following condolences.
So sorry to hear of Brigh’s passing! She was an exceptional nurse and a neat lady. Brigh was my nurse for all five surgeries in Cardiac at St Mary’s. I had three in Summer of 2016 and two more the next year. We got to know each other well. On the fifth admission, Brigh peaked around the curtain and jokingly said, “Mar, your in here again?” I said, “Not by choice Brigh but I’m thankful your still here to take care of me.” She said again jokingly, “If you come anymore we are going to have to forward your mail up here.”? Brigh mentioned she was going to retire soon. She lived only a few blocks from me in the house she grew up in. My husband, Chuck DeVos, knew Brigh’s brother, Fred Rolstad, well as Chuck taught Middle School at St John’s in Rochester for 16 years and his two kids, Libby and Ted, went to St Francis School. We wanted to attend the wake and funeral but I wasn’t feeling well that evening and had a Drs appt the day of the funeral. The family has been our thoughts and prayers. May you RIP Brigh!
Our deepest sympathy!
Chuck and Mar DeVos
I'm sorry I was out of state and could not attend Brigh's funeral or visitation. She was a special coworker and friend to my daughter-in-law Erin Pendergast while Erin was going through her cancer treatment and ultimately passed in 2014. She was also very welcoming to me as a new Rochester resident then. I have special memories of her and feel very sorry for your loss.
Love,
Paula
Brigh was in the 8th grade when we moved next door to the Rolstads. We were neighbors for 42 years. We were privileged to be included in many family celebrations. We watched Brigh grow up, become a devoted mother and grandmother and go to college for her RN. She was a special lady and will be missed by so many.
I am so sorry for your loss. Brigh was one of the strongest and most compassionate people I ever met. She loved her family enormously, always talked about all of you. I enjoyed working with Brigh for 20+ years and I learned many things from her over those many years. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
May peace be with you,
Jodi Ross

I worked with Brigh at St Mary's Hospital many many years ago when she was a nursing assistant and I was a LPN. I remember Brigh was such a caring person and I enjoyed working with her.

Stunned to hear this news. Brigh and I were good friends in high School and have many memories...lots of laughs and a few tears along the way. Life goes on and we went on our way in different directions but I'll never forget the friend that helped me grow up. Say hi to mom, dad and Chris.
Josh & family, so sorry for the loss. You're in my prayers!
I was so sad to hear of Brigh’s death. She was one of the kindest people I knew. I felt privileged to work with her for so many years. May the Lord have mercy on her soul.
I am so sorry for your loss! I didn't know Brigh but, I consider Cory a friend, and she must have been a great woman, to have such a great son in Cory. My prayers go out to the whole Mueller family, and friends of Brigh, as you deal with a tough loss. Chris Jones ?
We are so very sorry for your loss. We knew Brigh from our younger days. Such a wonderful person. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
I would like to send my heartfelt sympathies to the family during this difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Brigh in cardiology when I was just a new nurse starting out and later with her son in the research department. Brigh was always a wealth of information, support, and kindness when I knew her and I was reminded of that years later when I met Josh. It was clear that her family was important to her and that she was important to them. She will be remembered fondly by the many that worked with her during her long career.
To Brigh's Family and Friends,
Brigh was such a beautiful, loving, caring, empathetic, amazing, inspirational, wise woman! May she find peace in Heaven's Garden.
I am sending this message to you from Virginia MN, where I’ve been living for the past 11 years. I worked at Mayo for 35 years prior to that, and about 15 years with Brigh. She was one of my dearest Rochester friends, and I’ve thought about her a lot, especially over the past few months. I spoke with her for a long time a week before Cory’s wedding, and although we hadn’t talked for years, it was like we’d just hung out. I will forever miss her. I am so sorry for your loss. Brigh was one of the most wonderful people I’ve ever known. When my husband died, Brigh sent me a story about the date you’re born and the date you die:1955-2022. She said it’s not the dates that matter but the dash. The dash represents the life you lead…and Brigh has a wonderful dash!

To the family of Brigh, you have my heartfelt sympathy. I was so fortunate to have worked with Brigh on Cardiology. Brigh worked full time while going back to school to get her RN. What a great accomplishment. She gave kind compassionate care and would do so many comforting measures for her patients. I always enjoyed coming to her house for a lunch and great fun filled with fun and laughter. I will always remember sitting in her back yard enjoying her beautiful flowers. Brigh was concerned that we would get sun burned, so she went in and got these floppy sun hats. What a fashion statement. To her family, cherish all of your wonderful memories and take care of each other. Thanks for sharing Brigh with us.
Oh my, so sorry to hear of Brigh’s passing. She’ll be among flowers and smiling peacefully down on her loved ones. I know she enjoyed her family so much!!
May your Wonderful Memories sustain you during this difficult time.
Bless you Brigh.♥️
Brigh’s Family,
