Dan Tan Khathiya

Our loving father, Dan Tan Khathiya 66, of Rochester, MN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Campus, St. Mary’s Hospital.

He was born on September 4, 1958 in Laos, son of Na and Khan Khathiya.

He is survived by his children: Jennifer, Christy, Mary (Sovandy), Tommy (Melody), 12 grandchildren: Cynthia, Chloe, Charlotte, Deyvon, Ava, Dion, Tayden, Ryder, Kylo, Taysom, Oaklynn, and Takoda, five siblings: Lanh, Janet, John, Wendy, and Mike.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Vanh (2019), and his brother Jason.

The funeral service will begin at 10:30AM on Saturday August 30, 2025 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held starting at 9:30AM prior to the service, at the chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Rochester, MN.
