Beverly C. Snow

With deep sorrow and profound love, we share the passing of Beverly Catherine Snow, a woman of extraordinary compassion, fierce loyalty, and vibrant spirit, who departed this life on Monday, July 28th at the age of 75.

A devoted wife, beloved mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Beverly was the heart of her family and a guiding light to all who knew her. She devoted her life to uplifting others through her work as a social worker, championing recovery and pioneering Drug Court programs that transformed lives. With boundless empathy and unwavering support, she offered guidance and hope to countless individuals and families navigating their darkest moments.

Her own journey of sobriety spanned over four remarkable decades—41 years, one day at a time, of unwavering strength, grace, and resilience. Not only did she walk the path herself, but she held the hands of many as they found their way to healing. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the hope she inspired.

Beverly had a wild heart and an adventurous soul, never happier than when she rode through the open road on the back of Jerry’s Harley (or on her own), wind in her hair and love in her laugh. The only moment that rivaled this happiness is when she held a baby in her arms. Most notably her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her life partner and husband for the last three decades, Jerry Snow, her children Christine (Robert) Baker and Joseph Roche, grandchildren Sonora (Evan) Purrier, Lauryn and Jordyn Baker, great-grandchildren Tobias and Caroline Purrier, and her BEST buddy and Sponsor Else (Randy) Taylor, along with a multitude of friends who became her family. Beverly was proceeded in death by her loving parents, Patricia and Clinton Peterson.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Zumbro Community Church, 58354 Wabasha County RD 7, Zumbro Falls, MN 55991, on Saturday, August 23rd at 2:00pm where family and friends will gather to celebrate her extraordinary life.

Her impact was immeasurable, and while words fall short, we carry her love forward in every memory, every story shared, and in the kindness we offer others.

As written by Beverly, “My family and friends should not grieve my loss but instead celebrate my life as it has been full, totally enjoyed, and I was loved so deeply by them all.”

Condolences

The family of Beverly C. Snow has received the following condolences.

My condolences to Jerry and Family. I was so honored to have a Bible study group which included Bev for the last several years until her illness made it impossible to come any longer. God and family were the most important things to her. She often surprised us. One day she said she'd been the Mayor of Hammond MN! She'd used her political connections to secure a new water treatment facility. She was gutsy and just called up the Senator and got it done. That was Bev. I'm glad to call her my sister in Christ.

Bev was an incredible mentor, assisting me at the Republican MNGOP while she was Chair at Wabasha BPOU for many yrs. Bev loved her Country and MN and worked tirelessy to promote Christian conservative values.

Christine and family, so sorry to see Bev’s passing. She was, without a doubt, one of a kind, and her ferociously strong will never ceased to amaze me.

praters and peace,

Jerry, Christine and families-

I have so many wonderful memories of Bev. I cherish them all.

A Million Times

You never said I’m Leaving

You never said Goodbye

You were gone before I knew it

And only God knows why.

A million times we’ve needed you

A million times we’ve cried

If love alone could have saved you

You never would have died

In life we loved you dearly

In death we love you still

In our hearts you hold a place

No one else will ever fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you didn’t go alone

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home

With Deepest Sympathy-

Jordan, Carrie, Madisyn, Tony and James Collins
