Condolences

The family of Donald W. Neubauer has received the following condolences.

I was fortunate to have 2 brothers .  After they overcame the terrible, teasing teens,  they were great to me and my family,  always helping with health problems, etc.

Later, my husband needed heart surgery.  Don and Sharon were so very generous and helpful to us navigate a scary experience.  We were so very thankful.

So hard to believe I won't hear his voice anymore on our chats.

Sending thoughts, prayers and warm memories of your loved one, Don Neubauer, at the news of his death.  We are gratelul and blessed to have been longtime friends 1with Don and Sharon over these many years and will miss him dearly.  Over the years of our friendship, Don was the type of guy that if you did something kind for him, e.g., bring over homemade soup or angel food cake with fresh strawberries, he would show up the very next day, reciprocating with a bag of groceries or apple fritters he had purchased at the bakery.  He had a heart, the size of Texas!  We'll miss his telephone calls, quick wit and humor.  His love for his wife, Sharon, and family was unmatched. When we think of Don, this quote reminds us of him:

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaimoing..."WOW...WHAT A RIDE!"
