Patricia Kathleen Zelinski, 69, Of Rochester, MN, Died unexpectedly Friday morning, November 8, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Hospital St Marys Campus.
Patty was born October 2, 1955, in Lake City, Iowa to Philip and Betty Welp. She graduated from Mayo High School in 1974. On September 3, 1977, she married Michael Zelinski at Church of Resurrection in Rochester. The couple lived in Rochester. Patty worked at the Mayo Clinic holding various positions for 38 years retiring in 2018 as an Appointment Supervisor.
Patty loved playing cards with her friends, traveling, camping, watching comedy programs, attending Wild games and creating greeting cards in her craft room.
She is survived by her husband, Mike, and son, Derek Zelinski of Rochester, Minnesota. Her mother, Betty, of Rochester, Minnesota. Thomas (Midge) Welp of Rochester, MN, David (Kate) Welp of Rochester, MN and Shirley (Jack) Lee of Lynden, WA. And her sister-in-law Deborah Welp of Rochester, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her father and brother Robert.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2024, in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home with Pastor Karen Foster officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

So sorry Mike and family. I’ve known Patty since 9 th grade. We had some great adventures. She was maid of honor in our wedding. Mike was best man. Her first gift as a married couple was a kitten we named spiffy. So many great memories. Hugs and thoughts to zeke and family.
