Susan Marie Finley
Susan “Sue” Finley, 62 of Chatfield, MN passed away peacefully on April 11, 2022 at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
Sue was born on April 19, 1959 in Rochester to Jerome and Marla Rae (Ferguson) Finley. She graduated from Chosen Valley High School in 1979. She worked as a housekeeper at both St. Marys and Methodist hospitals, retiring after 30 years of service. She was married to Marlon Marum, and the couple later divorced. Sue’s pride and joy was her son, Shawn and her granddaughter Helaina. She loved cooking and watching sports, especially football. She also loved her beloved dog, Kesha. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her mother Marla Rae Finley of Chatfield, son Shawn of Eyota, granddaughter Helaina, siblings Tammy (Gregory) Bergan of Rochester, Dr. Steven (Teresa) Finley of Cushin, OK, Lori (Dan) Jay of Rochester, and Lynn (Tom) Noll of Excelsior, MN.
She is preceded in death by her father Jerome A. Finley.
The Memorial Service for Sue will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00AM in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, in the chapel. A luncheon will follow.

So sorry to hear about Susan. She was a kind and caring person, and a very good friend. We talked several times on the phone. I will miss not hearing her voice asking me what I am doing, and then telling me about her day. I will miss her a lot. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.
